“Because Every Heart Deserves to Believe Again.”

Through storytelling and fine art, Chris Fritchie brings the spirit of Santa to life — not just for children, but for every parent who still remembers what it felt like to believe.

Who Am I?

For more than two decades, Chris Fritchie has been telling stories through his lens. His career began as the staff photographer for Frisco STYLE Magazine, where he captured the heartbeat of his community and created more than 150 magazine covers and thousands of published images across regional and national publications. Yet even as the assignments and accolades grew, one longing remained — the desire to create something that means something.

From that calling came The Magic of Santa® — a fine art portrait experience that captures the wonder of childhood and the timeless beauty of belief. What began as a simple idea has since become one of the most recognized Santa portrait experiences in the nation, blending the artistry of storytelling with the emotional power of legacy.

Today, Magic Makers Studio stands as a reflection of that journey — a place where artistry, imagination, and craftsmanship unite to create heirloom portraits that feel as enduring as the memories themselves.

Chris’s work has been honored with numerous awards across state, national, and international platforms, including multiple Best of Show titles, ASP State Elite Awards, Imaging Excellence, Best Portrait of a Child, and the coveted MPI International Portrait Photographer of the Year. In 2025, his work was featured in PPA Magazine, one of the most prestigious honors in his career — a moment that underscored his lifelong pursuit of excellence in the art of photography.

Even with these achievements, Chris continues to compete among the world’s finest artists, not for recognition, but to refine his craft and honor a promise he made long ago — to create timeless art for every client who walks through his doors.

Because here, at Magic Makers Studio, we don’t just take portraits…

We capture the moments that remind us what it feels like to believe.

For the last two years we have dominated the competition world in the childrens portrait category. 2025 TPPA Best of Show, Best of Show, Best Child, ASP State Elite Award, Best by CPP, 2025 Wyoming State Best Child Portrait, ASP Images of Distinction Best Portrait of A Child, DPPA Best of Show, Imaging Excellence, MPI 2024 Portrait Photographer of the Year.

The Heritage Series

This project is deeply personal to me. The Heritage Series was born from a longing to create art that honors where we come from — to tell the stories of family, culture, and strength that deserve to be seen and remembered.

Each portrait is a collaboration between art and ancestry, crafted with the same care and timeless detail I bring to every piece I create. These aren’t quick sessions or casual photographs. They are emotional, intentional works of art that preserve legacy in a way words never could.

We’re creating only 30 portraits for this collection — thirty families whose stories will be told through museum-quality fine art and celebrated in a public gallery exhibition.

For me, The Heritage Series isn’t just a project. It’s a promise… to make something that means something, and to ensure that the beauty of our stories lives far beyond us.
